Governance

ERA-Can is one project supported by two consortia.

The DFAIT ERA-Can Consortium brings together support from the Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade Canada as well as the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR), Federal Partners in Technology Transfer (FPTT), National Research Council Canada (NRC), Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC) and the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada (SSHRC). The Consortium is governed by the Stakeholder Committee.

Current representatives are:

The CFI ERA-Can Consortium is supported by the European Commission and brings together the following organizations: Canada Foundation for Innovation (CFI), as well as Agenzia per la Promozione della Ricerca Europea (APRE), Deutsches Zentrum Für Luft-und Raumfahrt (German Aerospace Center, DLR) and Public Knowledge Canada (PKC).

Current representatives on the Management Committee are:

Diassina DiMaggio, Executive Director, Agenzia per la Promozione della Ricerca Europea (APRE)

As a single project, the two consortia are linked by a Joint Advisory Board bringing together representatives of the Department of Foreign Affairs and Internaitonal Trade Canada (DFAIT) and the European Commission (EC).

ERA-Can is a joint initiative of the European Commission
and the Government of Canada.
