What are NCPs?

All EU member states and associated countries have national contact points to inform researchers of calls for proposals, assist them in identifying potential partners and upcoming events in a wide range of fields. They also, on occasion, assist researchers in preparing competitive applications to FP7.

In Canada, there are 4 NCPs. ERA-Can and the Mission of Canada to the European Union, in Brussels, serve as national coordinators for NCPs in Canada.

ERA-Can is a joint initiative of the European Commission
and the Government of Canada.

The European Commission contributes to ERA-Can II through the 7th Framework Programme for Research and Technological Development (FP7), capacities, International Cooperation (GA No. 244426). Information reflects the opinion of the consortium.
